A Moloko group ride heading up a tree-lined lane in golden evening light

DIRTY HABITS

Some habits are worth keeping.

Moloko

Six months of winter. Six reasons to ride.

Winter’s long and we’ve got plans.

Welcome to Dirty Habits, Moloko’s winter ride series. Six months, six rides, each with its own route, challenge and excuse to get out of bed when it’s cold, dark or absolutely chucking it down.

We’re talking Richmond Park after dark, twelve climbs in the Surrey Hills, muddy gravel, big breakfasts, winter kit testing and an extra long ride to put yourself to the test. Along the way, we’re teaming up with some of our favourite brands to bring a little extra to each ride, from kit and tech to fuelling and recovery.

Come for one, come for all six. There’s a stamp collection involved, so you might as well make a habit of it.

COLLECT YOUR DIRTY HABITS

Every time you complete a Dirty Habits ride, you’ll collect a stamp. Get to four stamps or more across the series and you’ll earn an entry into the Bad Habits Lucky Dip.

We’ve got prizes each worth upwards of £200 from the brands joining us throughout the winter, so there’s another reason to keep showing up.

Six rides are on the table. How many are you doing?

THE LINE-UP

02. THE DIRTY DOZEN

With WAHOO & KOMOOT

One hill is sensible. Twelve is a choice.

We’re heading into the Surrey Hills for a road ride built around twelve climbs. Short and sharp, long and leg-burning, with a hands-on Wahoo tech session to get you clued up on climbing, pacing and navigation.

03. THE BIG BREAKFAST

The post-ride coffee gets more substantial.

We’re teaming up with JOE & THE JUICE for a winter morning ride, finishing back at Moloko Riverside for a big breakfast spread. Get the miles in first, then get stuck in.

04. SHOULD’VE STAYED HOME

With UNIVERSAL COLOURS

Dress properly. Ride anyway.

Cold mornings, wet roads and the sort of weather that makes staying in bed look pretty appealing. We’re teaming up with Universal Colours for a proper winter ride to put your kit through its paces.

05. LET’S GET MUDDY

With CANYON & WAHOO

Clean bikes are overrated.

Gravel, dirt, puddles and questionable lines. We’re leaving the clean roads behind for a ride with Canyon and Wahoo, built for getting a little filthy and having a good time doing it.

06. THE LONG ONE

With MAURTEN / RED BULL

One full lap of London.

We’re taking on the circumference of the capital, with Maurten fuelling to keep the legs turning and a support van en route. There’ll be plenty of kilometres to get through before Hyperice recovery at the finish.

WHY RIDE THROUGH WINTER?

Because the bike doesn’t need to go away just because summer has.

There are new roads to ride, familiar routes to tackle in a different light, and plenty of reasons to get a group together when the weather turns. We’ll bring the routes, the ride crew and a few epic partner activations along the way. You just need to turn up ready to ride.
