The Pyrenees are one of Europe's most spectacular cycling destinations, and once you've ridden here, it's easy to understand why.

Famous Tour de France climbs, winding mountain roads, dramatic gorges, beautiful lakes and charming French villages. There's something special about cycling here, with breathtaking scenery around every corner and some of the most beautiful roads we've ever ridden.

We'll explore the region's iconic climbs, but also venture off the beaten track to discover quieter roads, hidden valleys and little villages that make this part of France so special.

And after a day exploring the mountains? Our cosy countryside farmhouse awaits, with a swimming pool, delicious home-cooked food and plenty of time to relax with the group.

With just 10 guests and a support van accompanying our rides, this Escape is all about enjoying the mountains at your own pace, sharing great experiences and discovering one of our favourite cycling destinations.

Our home for the week is a beautiful renovated farmhouse in the heart of the French Pyrenees, surrounded by mountains, peaceful countryside and some incredible cycling right on our doorstep.

With five ensuite bedrooms, a spacious garden and an outdoor swimming pool, it's the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day exploring the region.

We love the cosy, homely feel of this place. Whether you're enjoying a lazy afternoon by the pool, relaxing in the garden or getting together for dinner, there's plenty to enjoy beyond the riding too.

And with just 10 guests, it really feels like our own little home in the mountains for the week.

One of our favourite things about a Moloko Escape is coming together at the end of the day, and the Pyrenees is no exception.

Our farmhouse hosts prepare delicious home-cooked meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with hearty breakfasts to start the day and three-course dinners to look forward to after the rides.

We'll stop at local cafés for lunch, with picnic options along the way thanks to our support vehicle.

And there's plenty to love beyond the bike too. Charming French villages, spectacular landscapes and those long summer evenings where nobody's in a hurry to go anywhere.

Good riding, good food and great company. That's what it's all about!

• Difficulty: 3/5–4/5 — Expect mountainous rides of 80–150km with 1,000–2,800m of climbing. This Escape is best suited to cyclists who enjoy climbing and are comfortable spending several hours in the saddle. You don't need to be the fastest up the mountains, but a good level of fitness and some climbing experience will help you make the most of the week.
• Price: £1,490 per person (monthly payment options available)
